Rebecca is owner of Wholistic Midwifery Services, Inc. based out of Volusia County serving all surrounding counties. She began her path as a birth junkie in 2006 after the birth of her third, becoming a doula and midwifery assistant. Through the years she has been certified as a Childbirth Educator, HypnoBirthing Instructor, Clinical Hypno-Therapist, Lactation Counselor…until finally beginning her studies towards midwifery. Serving women and families is a deep rooted passion for this midwife. After having midwives serve her family for years she felt it was her calling to give back. Since 2006 Rebecca has attended over 600 families being primary midwife to almost 350 of those families. Since becoming a Florida Licensed Midwife, Rebecca and her husband have welcomed their fourth child into their growing family…born at home into Daddy’s hands, as it should be.
Wholistic Midwifery Services, Inc. provides complete, individualized midwifery care throughout Brevard. Lake, Osceola, Orange, Polk, Seminole and Volusia Counties. Specializing in Home Birth, Water Birth and VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). Options for complete in-home care are available for those interesting in your midwife coming to your family. Offering full and accurate information on all tests, procedures and treatments, so that you can make well informed decisions for yourself and your baby. I feel women and their families deserve more from their care providers, my goal is to make women feel in more apart of their care … your body, your baby, your decision.
Prospective clients will be screened for any health related issues or concerns. Maternity care outside of a hospital setting is for low-risk, healthy mothers and babies. Consults are available for interested families at no charge. Consultations are for both midwife and prospective families to ask questions and to get to know one another. Insurance, Florida Medicaid and Self Pay plans are accepted.
